National Winner - Painting Contractor of the Year

Out of 1,000 plus painting contractors across the country, Santa Clarita based A. Allbright Painting wins the 2007 Award for “Who’s Who In the Painting Industry”.  Each year an 84 year old national painting industry magazine honors top professionals in the trade.  Nominations come from magazine readers, their editorial staff, the editorial advisory board and many industry experts.  The honorees were selected based on their passion for their trade, their business practices and accomplishments, their commitment to their industry and their local community support & involvement.  

 

Joshua Abramson, President of A. Allbright Painting, attributes a lot of why his company was honored to his desire to become the most accredited and trained painting contractor in the industry.  "Our employees are some of the most highly trained and professional painters in the business".  "Although no painting contractor in the state has ever become accredited by the Painters ...(PDCA), I jumped at the chance to be the first and only", says Joshua. "It's a competitive business and we like to stay ahead of the competition."

“We’ve come a long way from the time when I was hanging up stenciled signs in my neighborhood trying to get work.  That was 20 years ago,” said Joshua, 40.  “It feels great to be honored by my peers!”  His hard work has certainly paid off when you consider that he has come from a broken home, living with his single mom on welfare.  The company has now grown to over 25 employees that are consistently delivering on their motto of “Craftsmanship, Commitment & Creativity.”  The company was also honored because of their involvement in the Painting & Decorating Contractors of America, the nation trade organization for the painting industry. 

A. Allbright Painting has been based in Santa Clarita for over 13 of the 20 years they have been in business.  They are now currently located in the Industrial Center on Smyth Drive near Valencia High School.  They are known to be a full service, residential painting company offering everything from interior & exterior re-paints to custom cabinet refinishing.  They specialize in a lot of the custom, decorative finishes & professional color design consultation.  Joshua lives in Santa Clarita with his wife & two kids and is proud to support his local community by giving of his time, money and painting services to his kid’s school and A. Allbright Painting’s annual $5,000 Charity Painting Giveaway.  The most recent recipient of the Charity Giveaway just had the entire exterior of their house painted for free in January.
